-Played in winning group on the Europ, jazz contest in Belgiium with the Nicolas Thys trio. Special prize for best drummer of the festival.
-Drummer in modern opera “Orpheus” from Louis Andriessen. Performances on the Holland festival in the stadsschouwburg and the Nes in Amsterdam and the stadsschouwburg in Roosendaal. Broadcasted by the VPRO radio.

-Drummer and percussionist in the “Loevendie project”. One week of playing with Theo Loevendie in the Bimhuis Amsterdam. Radio broadcast by the NPS.
-Made first CD “A matter of conviction” with theYuri Honing trio and a long tour in the Netherlands.

Graduated from the Hilversums concervatory with mark 9 UM
Working in Yuri Honing trio, Lydia van Dam group.
Started teaching on the DJAM, music school in Amsterdam.

-Djembé and sabar lessons in Senegal (West Africa) from Ali un D,aye Rose.
-Participated in the “trommelballet”. Written percussion music for a male ballet for students from the ballet acedemy in Amsterdam. Performances in the Nes, Frascati and the stadsschouwburg in Amsterdam.
-Besides drums a lot of modern classical percussion performances. Played works of Xenakis, Hanna Kulenti en Theo Loevendie.
