Maarten Ornstein is a reed player and composer who has mastered both (bass)clarinet and tenor saxophone. He is famous for his distinctive sound and contributions to modern jazz and improvised music. Maarten studied eastern European Music and Indian music and collaborates with a wide array of musicians in Holland and Europe composing highly original pieces of music. His work stretches from classical ensembles to pop groups, as well as theatre projects including Orkater and his own group DASH! (website)

 


IMG_3446.jpgTony Overwater is an award winning bass player whose sound and unique way of playing have established him as a key player in the European Jazz world. He is a remarkable solo performer and leader of his own projects but also a collaborative and attentive sideman. He plays a wide variety of musical styles, and is particularly known for his pioneering work with Arab music with Rima Khcheich. (website)

Wim Kegel is considered one of Holland’s most prominent jazz drummers. He has developed a unique style combining traditional jazz drumming with a very progressive, contemporary and personal approach. Wim studied North African percussion and indian music. He plays with the Tilmar Junius Trio and Special Delivery. (website)
